In recent years there has been a surge in the sales of olives for hotels, restaurants and fast-food chains, corresponding to increased interest in olives and to the growing trend for eating out and tourism. Use of olives in food manufacturing is also increasing considerably, particularly for pizzas, sandwiches, breads, foccacias, pasta sauces and ready meals. CRESPO has been a long-time supplier to the foodservice trade, offering pizzerias, restaurants, hotels and manufacturers a complete range of green and black olives in tins, jars and innovative pouches.

Once again, CRESPO has led the olive market by developing the practical, space-saving, 1 kg pillow-pouch, in response to the needs of our major customers. As result of painstaking R&D and investment, 100% of our olive exports to the USA are now delivered in pouches instead of in traditional tins, an act our competitors have found very hard to follow. For the UK foodservice market we have also developed a range of olive products in sturdy 240 cl. plastic jars.
